Fuel System
Every vehicle on GHOST//NET burns fuel. Run dry and the engine cuts out wherever you are, so watch the fuel bar on your HUD and top off before a long run.
Refuel at a station
- Pull up to any fuel pump at a gas station.
- Get out and walk to the pump.
- Press the interact key to open the fuel menu.
- Choose how much to buy. You pay per liter from your cash or card.
- Wait for the bar to fill, then drive off.
Controls
| Key | Action |

| HUD | Fuel bar shows current level while driving |
Jerry cans
A jerry can lets you refuel away from a station, which matters when a job goes sideways out in the badlands.
- Buy a jerry can from a fuel station shop or a vendor.
- Aim at your vehicle and use the can to pour fuel in.
- Cans hold a limited amount, so they top you up, they do not fill you.
Tips
- Fuel costs money. Budget for it on long hauls and remote drops.
- A near empty tank stutters before it dies. That stutter is your warning.
- Electric and high performance vehicles can drain at different rates. Watch the bar, not the clock.
If your engine quits and the bar reads empty, you are out of fuel, not broken down. Get a can or a tow.
Notes for staff
The fuel system runs on cdn-fuel, bridged to the qbx core and storing items in ox_inventory. Stations are seeded in the fuel_stations table and levels persist on the vehicle through the _FUEL_LEVEL decor used by ghostnet_vehicles.
