🧬 Character Creation Interface

Welcome to the GHOST//NET Character Interface where your identity begins. Your character is more than just a model on the screen. They are a story waiting to be written in blood, chrome, neon, and shadow.

💡 What You're Creating

In GHOST//NET, characters begin as civiliansstreet-level survivors trying to carve out a life in a city built on secrets and power. You choose who they are now… and who they might become.

All supernatural factions are locked behind roleplay and staff approval. However, you can aspire to a path.

Want to become a vampire? Choose it as your goal.
Want to run with the werewolves? Mark it, and earn it through play.

Just remember: no one starts powerful. You write your legacy from the bottom up.

🎭 How to Write a Character Backstory

After creating your character, we encourage you to post a backstory in the RP-Backstories Discord Forum. This helps staff and other players engage with your story and support your development.

Here are some prompts to help shape your backstory:

Where did they grow up?
What kind of trouble have they survived?
What do they fear?
What are they chasing?
What do they believe about the worldand what might change that?

🛠️ How to Use the Character Creator (Illenium-Appearance)

1. Select "Create New Character"

This opens the character creation process.

2. Fill in Your Details:

Name (First & Last)
Gender
Nationality
Date of Birth (In-character year is 2040)
Species (Defaults to Human you may select your aspiration, such as Vampire, Werewolf, or Hunter, but this does not grant powers)

"You can choose what path you want, but you have to earn it in-game."

3. Customize Your Look:

Use the left-side menu sliders:

Inheritance: Blend facial structure using presets
Face Features: Fine-tune eyes, jaw, cheekbones, etc.
Appearance: Set hair, complexion, skin overlays
Clothes: Pick your starting outfit (you can change later in-game)
Props: Eyewear, jewelry, accessories
Tattoos: Optional body ink customization

4. Confirm Your Identity:

When you're ready, click Choose Your Fate to finish character creation. This officially places your character into the world of GHOST//NET.

⚠️ Important Notes

You do not need to apply to play a human civilian.
Selecting a supernatural race at creation is symbolicyour aspiration, not your starting power.
To actually become a supernatural being, you must develop the story in-game through roleplay, relationships, and time.
Focus first on building your civilian life and historyyour path will unfold naturally.
