This document outlines actions considered breaches of the supernatural Masquerade, and the consequences that may follow based on faction law. Exposure of the hidden world to civilians, surveillance, or unsecured channels is considered an existential threat to all factions.
📜 What Is the Masquerade?
"Listen closely, fledgling. The Masquerade isn't just a ruleit's the veil that keeps the monsters in the dark and the masses asleep. It's the silence between our world and theirs. Break it, and you don't just risk yourself. You risk all of us. The mortals aren't ready. Hell, they're dangerous when they're scared. Hunters, pitchforks, fireall of it comes next.
You don't show them what you are. You don't talk about blood, or moon cycles, or magic in the streets. You don't flash your powers like parlor tricks. And if one of us slips up... we clean it up. Fast.
Because the second they know we're real, they'll never stop coming. And the factions? We may hate each other, but we'll all agree on one thing: the fool who pulled back the curtain has to go."
